I’m Brandon Buchanan, the person behind nerdhirn. I help small teams make their technology easier to use, support, and improve.

My approach starts with the people using the technology. A computing environment should be dependable and understandable, and it should create more time for the work that matters. I use practical automation to remove repetitive work, responsive support to solve immediate problems, and what we learn from each issue to prevent it from happening again.

How I work

• Make it manageable. Technology should reduce friction instead of adding another layer of it.
• Automate thoughtfully. Repeated solutions belong in reliable systems, documentation, and processes.
• Care about the details. Good support includes the technical fix and the experience of the person who needs it.
• Build for what comes next. Solutions should remain useful as a team and its needs grow.
